Zoe Peden, investor and award-winning educational technology entrepreneur joins us to talk about her journey. Founder of FutureWorldVC and MyChoicePad, a language development product has made a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.  Zoe began her career in the charity sector, she describes life as an entrepreneur seeking funding, balancing the ups and downs and living off pure determination and creative talent.

Zoe is an experienced tech entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years operating and board experience in technology companies. She co-founded one of the UK’s top-grossing education apps, MyChoicePad. 

 MyChoicePad is an assistive technology that uses a combination of sign language and symbols to enable children and adults with learning disabilities to communicate more effectively. It’s helped over 100,000 lead more independent lives. Achievements include Elle Magazine UK Female Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Finalist Global Mobile Awards, BAA Female-led investment of the Year, BT Connected Society Award and UnLtd Big Venture Challenge Winner.

 Zoe also sits on the other side of the table as an investor for Ananda Impact Ventures - one of Europe’s largest impact venture capital organisations. She sources and supports a portfolio of some of the world’s most impactful tech companies. In addition, Zoe sits on an Investment Committee for UnLtd and is also a Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School where she has the privilege of teaching some of the world's brightest future entrepreneurs on the MSc Entrepreneurship.
